Friends of the Malden Public Library Fall Book Sale: Nov. 4th (preview) – Nov. 5th

The Big Fall Book Sale is here! The Friends of the Malden Public Library will have a huge book sale on Friday, Nov. 4th, from 6-9pm. This is an early access preview sale for Friends members only. Join the Friends on Friday night or renew your membership to gain the best access to the book sale.

The Friends Fall Book Sale is open to everyone on Saturday, November 5th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. We have thousands of books, DVDs, children’s books, CDs, cookbooks, and more! Cash or check only please.

The Friends Book Sale helps raise money for Library programs, museum passes, technology, movie nights, teen programs, children’s programs, high demand bestsellers, and more. We look forward to seeing you there!

Welcoming Week At The Library: September 9th-18th

Whether it’s starting a new job, changing schools or neighborhoods, we all know how it feels to not belong. That is why we’re celebrating the places and spaces #WhereWeBelong for #WelcomingWeek2022! Welcoming Week is an annual campaign and celebration to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants.

 

Join us this September to celebrate the spirit of welcoming in Malden. Stop by the Malden Public Library and learn more about Welcoming Week, our digital language learning apps (including for English Language Learners), our new World Language books, and a few fun surprises!
