Children up to 5th grade are invited to join us on the Malden Public Library front lawn for an afternoon of tie-dye on July 30th, 2026 from 2:30-4pm! Register in advance and make your own unique t-shirt in the summer sun! Materials will be provided by the library. Be prepared to get a little messy and dress accordingly!

This event will be capped at 36 participants, so sign-up ASAP! The rain date for this event will be July 31st.

Sing, dance, and get a little loco! Rockabye Beats is more than just an entertaining music program for young children—it’s a place where friends are made and families grow closer by creating music together! Join us for some musical fun as Berklee-graduate Shon Gordon plays his guitar while subliminally teaching basic Spanish vocabulary. Join us on Tuesday, July 14th at 11:00 AM in the Children’s Room. Appropriate for ages 2-6+.
