Street parking is available outside of the library at the 2 hr spots on Park st. and the 1 hr spots on Salem st. Residential parking is in place for much of the surrounding neighborhoods and is indicated by signage. The library also validates parking for up to 4 hrs in the city garages on Centre st. and Jackson st. Please see the Circulation desk with your parking slip for validation. Additional parking restrictions may be in effect due to weather, street sweeping, or special permit. Please see the parking department for more information or ask at our Information desk.

Take the orange line (Oak Grove) to Malden Center Station. At Malden Station, turn to your right as you leave the lobby. Cross Commercial St. to Exchange St. Follow Exchange St. (passing Bank of America on your right) to first intersection with traffic light – this is Main St. Turn left onto Main St. Turn right onto Salem St. The library is on the left, across from the Malden High School. Turn left onto Park St. to enter the library.
Bus service is also available from Malden Center Station. Look for one of the following buses: Linden Sq. (#108), Revere House (#411), or Lebanon St. (#106, please note that #106 route to Malden Ctr is limited, please check the bus schedule for details).
