There are several ways in which you can support the Malden Public Library:
- Become a Volunteer
- Join the Friends of the Library
- Contribute to the Capital Campaign
- Donate a tribute collection in honor of a loved one.
Though the new addition opened in June of 1996, we continue to raise money to repay our debt from the building project. About $2 million remains to be raised, of which we expect a large portion to come from individuals committed to our tradition of independence and excellence.

The Malden Public Library, a corporation with partial city support, needs more endowment funds to continue its many services. Its present funds provided the fine paintings, popular lecture course and most of the books, as well as the land, the buildings and its additions.
