ESOL Materials
The Malden Public Library offers a wide range of materials to help English Language Learners including books, audio CDs, DVDs, and digital media such as Mango Languages, Pronunciator, and Transparent Language. The ESOL collection is located on the main floor, near the magazines. Topics of interest in the collection include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills, TOEFL, dictionaries, idioms, daily life, immigration, citizenship, and recommended books (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).
English Language Learners Conversation Class
Every Wednesday, we host a free English Conversation class from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for beginning English speakers to practice their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
