YA Craft: Pokémon Models on July 22nd @ 3:00 PM

Young Adults in the 5th through 12th are invited to make their own Pocket Monster at the Malden Public Library. YA Movie Matinee: Video Games – Friday, August 1st @ 3 PM

Young Adults in the 5th through 12th Grade are invited to the Malden Public Library to watch a movie, have some snacks and relax in the AC as we power on our consoles for a Video Game Film.

Join us for an animated film based on the Super Mario Bros. video games on Friday August 1st from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. We will have snacks and light refreshments while they last. No sign up is required for this Rated PG film.

YA Perler Bead Take Home Craft

Young Adults in the 5th through 12th grade are invited to come to the MPL for a fun quick craft that you can do at home this week. Perler Beads are small colorful collections of plastic beads that you can arrange and fuse together with the help of an iron (not provided).

These kits have a small board, tweezers, wax paper and beads, everything you need for a fun time. These kits are first come first served and you can pick them up at the Information Desk at the MPL.

Young Adult Movie Matinee, Thurs. July 11th @ 3:00PM

Young Adults and Kids are invited to experience the Video Game movie of the year on Friday, July 11th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM. Join us for all the Mining and/or Crafting to be had in the film based on the popular Minecraft video game.

Kids accompanied by adults are welcome, and 5th through 12th graders can be unaccompanied. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.

YA Arts: Video Game Painting, Thurs. July 17th @3PM

Young Adults in the 5th through 12th grade are invited to kick off the Summer Reading Arts programming with some Video Game Artwork. Sign up below to get your own easel and paint and recreate an 8-Bit creation for your desk. YA Polymer Clay Jewelry – June 12th @ 3:00 PM

Young Adult Craft: Needle Felting, Thursday, May 26th @3PM

Young Adults in the 6th through 12th grade are invited to the Malden Public Library to learn a new craft: Needle Felting. This class will take place in the Program Room on the second floor at 3:00 on Thursday, May 26th. This is a fun hobby that involves tufting wool into cute shapes with needles. Wind Powered Projects: A Youth Malden Reads Event

Youth and Teens in the 3rd through 12th Grade are invited to learn about Wind Power at the Malden Public Library on Thursday, April 24th from 3:00 – 4:00 and 4:00 – 5:00 PM. This is a STEM based craft where you will recreate a small model that recreates how wind power can provide electricity for homes.
