Celebrate National Library Week, April 10-16

This year’s National Library Week theme is Libraries Transform, reminding all Americans that today’s libraries are not just about what we have for people, but what we do for and with people.  Libraries offer access to the tools, technology and training essential to the economic and cultural lives of their communities.

Ways to Celebrate

1. Visit your library.

Head to your public, school or academic library during National Library Week to see what’s new and take part in the celebration.  Libraries across the country are participating.

2. Show your support for libraries on social media.

Follow the Malden Public Library on Facebook and Twitter and use the hashtags #NLW16 and #LibrariesTransform to join the celebration on social media.
