Origami enthusiast James Hollis will be sharing his knowledge on Wednesday, October 21st from 6:30–8:30 pm at the Malden Public Library. Just in time for the holiday season, James will be featuring Origami Christmas Trees this session.
Materials and instruction are free and will be provided, thanks to the funding of the Friends of the Malden Public Library. Please bring a ruler and a pair of scissors. Space is limited and advance registration is required, so please sign up early at Information Desk.

Materials and instruction are free and will be provided, thanks to the funding of the Friends of the Malden Public Library. After more than a decade of world-wide touring and three album releases, Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson–otherwise known as the folk duo Hungrytown–have earned a reputation for the quality and authenticity of their songwriting.
They released their first CD, Hungrytown, in 2008; Any Forgotten Thing in 2011; and Further West in 2015. The couple continue to spend more than half of each year on the road, especially roads in North America, Europe and New Zealand. Hungrytown’s music has received extensive radio airplay worldwide and has appeared on several television shows, including the Independent Film Channel’s hit series, Portlandia.
Join licensed hair stylist Brittany Judkins on Tuesday, August 4 from 6–8:30 pm for a hair braiding class. Brittany will teach different braiding options and show tips on how you can improve your technique.
