Celebrate Haitian Heritage Month on May 3

Join us for a celebration of Haitian Heritage Month on Thursday May 3, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Come explore Haiti’s rich history, art, food, language, music, and overall culture.  The program is free and open to all.  This program is a continuation of the Malden Reads presentation on Slavery, Abolition, and Haiti.  For information, call the Library at 781-324-0218, or text 617 433 8472.

Thank you to the Friends of the Malden Public Library

Thank you to all the great volunteers and the community that came out to support the Friends of the Library Book Sale.  If you missed it, check out the Friends Book Sale Cart in the library lobby everyday.  All proceeds help sustain free Library programs such as movie nights, arts and crafts for children, Library infrastructure, museum passes, and more. See you there!
