Library materials (books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays) may be returned to any Metro Boston Library Network member library (Boston, Chelsea, and Malden) with some exceptions (museum passes, hotspots, Library of Things).
- Books and magazines may be returned at the Circulation Desk or in the outside in the Book Return bin.
- DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, and other AV materials may be returned at the Circulation Desk or in the outside AV Return bin.
- Museum passes must be returned at the Information Desk, or outside in the Book Return bin (within their included envelope).
- WiFi hotspots MUST be returned to the Malden Circulation Desk, during open hours. Returning a hotspot to a different MBLN library will result in loss of hotspot borrowing privileges from Malden.
- Library of Things items MUST be returned to the Malden Information Desk, during open hours.
