ESL Materials

The Malden Public Library offers a wide range of materials to help English language learners including books, audio CDs, DVDs, and digital media such as Mango languages The ESL collection is located on the main floor, near the Reference collection. Topics of interest in the collection include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills, TOEFL, dictionaries, idioms, daily life, immigration, and citizenship.

ESL Class

Every Wednesday, we host a free English Conversation class from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for beginning English speakers to practice their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
