The Malden Public Library offers a wide range of materials to help English language learners including books, audiotapes and videos. The ESL collection is located on the main floor, between the magazines and audiobooks. Topics of interest include vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills, immigration and citizenship. We also have small deposit collections of books in Russian, Spanish and French, in addition to our large Chinese collection.
Every Wednesday, we host a free English Conversation class from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity for beginning English speakers to practice their skills and learn new words.
