SONG & RHYME TIME:
Beginning Saturday, September 7,
every Tuesday and Saturday, 10:30-11:15 a.m.
This early literacy program for young children (6 months to 5 years) features songs, nursery rhymes, and a short picture book. No registration required. Just come on by!
Every Friday, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Beginning October 4 through early June, Laurie Rae Tressler from Library Creative Drama, Inc., offers theater activities for children ages 7-10. Elements include theater games, improvisation, music, art, and literature. No registration required. Program offered weekly, except during school vacations.
CHINESE NEW YEAR CRAFT TIME
Saturday, February 1, 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited to make decorations to celebrate the Year of the Horse and Valentine's Day.
VALENTINE CRAFT TIME
Wednesday, February 5, 3:00-4:45 p.m.
Children of all ages can stop by for part of the craft time to make special creations for Valentine's Day.

Trombonist Will Connell from the New England Conservatory will perform the story The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein and talk about his trombone.
Friday, February 28, 10:00-10:45 a.m.
The Mayor of Malden will read fun picture books aloud to young children. For ages 3 and up. A simple craft will follow.
NORTH AMERICAN BIRDS OF PREY
Wednesday, March 5, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
This Wingmasters program presents lots of facts about birds of prey and features several live birds. For ages 6 and up. Tweens and teens welcome. Sponsored by the Friends of the Malden Public Library
