Mango languages
Wednesday, February 17th, 2010Mango Languages is now available at the Malden Public Library! Mango Languages is a FREE online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. Languages include: Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, Japanese, English for Spanish speakers and many more. Use your Malden Public Library card to log on. NewsBank Boston Metropolitan Collection: The electronic editions of record for valuable local and regional newspapers in the Boston Metropolitan area-all in one easy-to-search database. Each paper provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and people in the community. Includes among others Malden Observer, Melrose Free Press and Medford Transcript.

World Book Online Reference Center: The premier online reference source-containing every article from the 22-volume print set plus thousands more. Resource includes : World Book Advanced; World Book Kids; World Book Student and Estudiantil Hallazhgos en Linea.

An award winning songwriter and graduate of Berklee College of Music, April has been performing with New England’s finest musicians for the last 12 years. Her deep roots in southern gospel and blues combine with urban soulfulness and sophistication, to create music that’s pure, gutsy, and unmistakably authentic. Her focus is singing songs in the tradition of classic singers like Joe Williams, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles and Tony Bennett.
