Yoga for Teens is back at the Malden Public Library!
Licensed yoga instructor, Rosa Brown will be teaching FOUR yoga sessions in September.
Yoga will be held on Wednesdays, September 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 4-5:30 p.m.
We have spots for 24 teens in grades 5-12.
The library will provide the yoga mats.
Comfortable clothes and socks are required.

Kids of all ages who love music and dancing are invited to the Kids Dance Party this Saturday, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. We’ll be doing the Macarena, Cha-Cha Slide, Limbo, and more to a wide range of fun music. Bring your energy and get ready to boogie!
Malden Public Library Teen Author Presentation
featuring: Ellen Wittlinger
Ellen Wittlinger is the author of Parrotfish, Hard Love, Zig Zag and many other young adult novels. She will come to the Malden Public Library to discuss her writing for teens.
Please join us on Thursday, September 18 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm in the Maccario Room.

Spaces are still available for the six-week session of Fall Storytimes for Preschoolers. You may register by telephone (781-388-0803) or in person in the Children’s Room.
Preschool Storytime: Ages 3-5 years; Choose Wednesday or Thursday sessions, 10:30-11:30 a.m., beginning Sept. 17/18 and ending Oct. 22/23.
Infant/Toddler Song & Rhyme Time for ages 6-36 months takes place on Tuesdays, 10:30-11:15 a.m., beginning Sept. 16, and does not require registration. Just drop in for all six sessions.
Our busy summer of children’s programming ends this Friday, August 15, with a special ice cream party at 2:30 p.m. for registered children who have been submitting their reading logs.
The ice cream party is generously sponsored by Stop & Shop, Broadway, Malden.

Experience the excitement and joy of live theater as student actors from Kidstock! Summer Theater perform the original mini-musical “Surfing Beauty.” This modern telling of a familiar tale takes us to the beaches of Hawaii where the “Prince of Tides” is destined to fall asleep for 100 years by pricking his finger on…a surfboard! The audience is invited to “hang ten” and help defeat the evil enchantress Surfsula!
This FREE 40-minute show involves audience participation and is recommended for ages 3 and up.
