For students entering grades 6-12 who want to get involved with the Young Adult department @ the Malden Public Library.

* Help plan and set up fun teen programs!

Book Sale
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008Join the Friends of the Malden Public Library for their annual book and bake sale on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 10:00am-4:00pm. The book sale preview for Friends members will be Friday, October 24, 2008, 6:00-9:00pm. Purchase a membership at the door for $10.
Hardcovers $1.00, paperbacks $.50; children’s books $.25 or 5/$1.00.

Book Description:
This uplifting book is about my experiences in an extraordinary no-kill animal shelter. This tiny shelter is special because life-saving miracles happen there daily. There are not enough adjectives to express the enormous amount of generosity, kindness and good that takes place in this modest structure run by all volunteers twenty-four/seven.
