The Boston Italians Booktalk & Signing by Stephen Puleo: 5/15

Author Stephen Puleo will speak about his latest work The Boston Italians: A Story of Pride, Perseverance, and Paesani, from the Years of the Great Immigration to the Present Day at the Malden Public Library on
Thursday, May 15, 2008 7-8:30p.m. in the
Ryder Art Gallery. A question and answer session will follow the talk and the author will also sign copies of his latest work as well as Dark Tide: The Great Molasses Flood of 1919 .

Sat., May 3: Reading Roots for Kindergartners

The final Reading Roots enrichment program for kindergartners in the 2007-2008 year will take place this Saturday, May 3, at 3:00 p.m. ArtToGogh will present its Seahorse program: listen to Eric Carle’s Mister Seahorse, decorate your own plaster seahorse (to take home!), and play a group sealife activity.

Reading Roots is generously funded by the Anna Yaghjian Fund. The goal of this enrichment program is to nurture in kindergartners a love of books, reading, learning and libraries.
