Children who love to dance, act, and use their imaginations will enjoy Susan Paino’s Barefoot Arts program featuring creative movement and dramatic play, with music. This FREE program is most appropriate for ages 4-7. Sponsored by the Friends of the Malden Public Library.

Chinese Music Appreciation & Concert

Have you ever wondered why “Pipa” is called “Pipa”, why “Erhu” is called “Erhu”, or what is “Sheng”?
What the sound of “Dizi”, “Guzheng”, and “Gugin”?
Or you just want to enjoy music on a Saturday afternoon!!

The presentation is given by GBCCA Chinese Music Ensemble and the concert is performed by GBCCA Youth Chinese Music Ensemble.

Time: Saturday, March 22, 2:00-4:00 pm
Place: Malden Public Library, Carr Gallery

Free Admission

This program is supported by a grant from the Malden Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
