I always use this site to check for Massachusetts links and general information. I can say it is a “gem” among Web Sites. I wish the library itself was more user Friendly

Congratulations on an award winning website! It’s tastefully done, easy to navigate and to retrieve information. I also would like to suggest adding a “Listings of Arts and Cultural Venues in Malden” page on the MPL’s website. I believe this additional information would greatly benefit Malden’s cultural awareness and options. - Sincerely, Sand T

I like the new website look. Thanks for including a “code of conduct” for using the library. I also like the idea of including a list of arts and cultural venues in Malden. No need to list calendar events (which could mean a lot of work for the webmaster), just links to area art galleries, cultural centers would be great.

Wonderful new look to the site. Great information and ease of navigation. Well done. I second the suggestion of adding a Listing of Arts and Cultural Venues section. There are so many talented cultural locations in town and it would be nice to have a list…links would be a bonus.

Hi There:
I too would like the library to consider adding information to its site about artistic and cultural events and opportunities in Malden. This office, along with the Malden Redevelopment Authority, has forged a great partnership with members of the local arts community. We believe that by promoting the arts, you strengthen the quality of life here in the community.

Now that it’s been mentioned, it would be handy and interesting to have a place to go to see what is going on in Malden for art related events. I can’t think of a better place to have that sort of information available.

I want to echo what Sand T has suggested. It would be greatly bennificial to have listings of Arts and Culture Venues on this site. Malden is increasingly becoming a center for the arts. Information about the arts on this site would help the community of Malden grow with the arts, something that always enriches communities.

The following link should be added to the library’s website: “Listings of Arts and Cultural Venues in Malden”
It would greatly help current and upcoming Malden residents to find cultural venues in this town, especially since Malden is trying to atract new residents.

Hi Everyone,
I think this is a great idea. Malden needs a central location to announce and help to connect its people to the arts and cultural events and activities. There is no other perfect location than the Malden Public Library. Arts and culture are a reflection of our wellbeing. They connect to people in a non-threatening way. They sooth our souls and grace our humanity.

Congratulations again on your website, it speaks to Malden’s increasing pride and care for the city. The Library is such an integral part of the community, reflecting opportunities and encouragement for a literate society, as well as culture. I would like to echo what people have mentioned above, regarding a page for Arts and Cultural Events and Venues, this would continue the invitation to be involved, be inspired and take care of where we live.
