Bullying: Parent Ed Workshop

Monday, April 30th, 2007

Bullying at the Elementary School Level:
Parent Education Workshop
May 2, Wednesday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

What drives bullying behavior? How can you intervene to change the response patterns of the bully, the victim, and the bystander? Bring questions, examples, and frustrations. You will leave with tools, strategies, and the confidence to use them! The workshop leader, Rick Irving, LICSW, has been a clinical social worker for the Andover Public School system since 1978 and, for more than 25 years, has assisted children in his private therapy practice.

Educators are also welcome. (Free materials for schools are available at Stop Bullying Now.) For those without childcare, we will offer activities for children. This FREE workshop is sponsored by the Oak Grove Improvement Association. For more information, please call 781-388-0803.
