ESL Conversation

Join us for Movie Night at the Malden Public Library on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from 6:00-7:45pm. We will be showing a recent holiday movie where Diane Keaton, as Charlotte Cooper, signs her holiday cards, Love The Coopers. Set on Christmas Eve, a dysfunctional family gets together for the holidays in this comedy-drama. The movie stars John Goodman, Alan Arkin, Diane Keaton, Marisa Tomei, Amanda Seyfried, Anthony Mackie, Jake Lacy, June Squibb, Ed Helms, and Olivia Wilde. The film is directed by Jessie Nelson, who also directed the films Corrina, Corrina and I Am Sam.
The Coopers rediscover “family bonds and the spirit of the holiday” in this guilty-pleasure movie. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette mentions the “A-list cast.”

Mayor Storytime

Young Adult Game Day

Young Adults in the 6th through 12th grade are invited to enjoy an afternoon video and board game party in the Maccario Room. On Thursday December 8th from 3:00-4:30 PM we will break out the controllers and board games and have a great time with snacks and drinks.
